Groupe Lacasse Celebrates 60 Years at NeoCon!

CHICAGO, June 2016 - NeoCon 2016 attendees will again find some of the world’s best laminate casegoods, panel systems, commercial and soft seating on display in Groupe Lacasse’s 10th-floor showrooms at the Merchandise Mart.
Past Meets the Future in Suite 1042. This year, Groupe Lacasse celebrates 60 years of trendsetting innovation. Suite 1042 has therefore been redesigned around that theme. Call it a nod to the origins of a company that has always been proud of its beginnings and its successes. From its humble start in 1956 in Guy Lacasse’s family garage, the company became 20 years later the largest manufacturer of sewing machine cabinets in Canada.
As times have changed, so have the products! But success remains the same. Today, Groupe Lacasse is a North American leader in the design, manufacture and service of high-quality business and institutional furniture solutions. As the future is as important as the past, an imposing timeline design on one of the walls of the showroom recalls important dates in the company’s history and how it has grown through the years.
The design of Suite 1042 is very sleek and inspired by a black and white theme that never goes out of style. Materials show a mix of authentic and natural accents for a definitive vintage look and feel. The layouts are actual and welcoming and exhibit Groupe Lacasse’s latest introductions like the striking ORSAY lounge chair and the recently revamped HIP HOP and CUBE lounge seating collections.
Also featured are several welcoming and cozy workstations with integrated technology. The C.I.T.É. furniture system, a two-time Best of NeoCon Gold recipient, is a proud part of this year’s showcase. As is the NVISION panel-based system with its new work surfaces, innovative laminate storage units and an array of new accessories. And let’s not forget the QUORUM MULTICONFERENCE training tables which evolve and keep pace with any room and user. Height adjustable tables and low storage units put the final touch in convivial and collaborative workspaces.
